Kodakit connects professional photographers (B2C) with consumers and businesses (B2B).

The vision was to create the next generation marketplace for photographers, starting from establishing a clear understanding of the future service, to choosing the optimal platform and technologies for delivery.

Starting with a product discovery workshop (software process manager, chief architect and UX expert), the service vision was conceived, and the requirements analyzed to establish the high-level architecture of the solution. The MVP was developed jointly between CodeValue and Kodak. The solution is based on the Microsoft Azure Service Fabric in order to leverage the power of the cloud for scalability, high availability and robustness. It enabled building a modern system based on microservices, removing potential concerns related to health and state management, as well as versioning. The website is built in AngularJS, while the mobile application is built using Xamarin. Scrum principles and methodologies were applied, while user stories, tasks, test cases and bugs are managed using TFS.
